No energy?

You feel as tired in the morning as the night before?

You have to drag yourself from place to place? You can’t concentrate anymore? You can’t recognize yourself anymore?  You are wondering where the dynamic woman you once where has gone? It doesn’t have to be like this. You can wake up energized early morning, you can feel like you can move mountains. The power lies in eating organic and raw.

Before you start your raw journey you are so used to feeling fatigued that you even don’t hold still with that fact anymore. You come home after work, shop, cook, clean and at the moment you can have some time to yourself you fall out on the sofa. No energy left to play some music, to read a book, to see some friends, to make love. These are the things that make the difference in your life: having time to yourself to do what you love doing, interact with your loved ones so you can recharge for a next day of work.

There can be many reasons why you are lacking energy. Finding the cause is one thing, nurturing with care, love and the right food another. Lack of energy can be the consequence of too much work, working too hard without time off, pressure, stress, difficult communication, people in your environment who take away your energy without returning some, a relationship which isn’t fulfilling you. These are external influences but they can soak your mind and emotions in such a way that you end up feeling totally empty. You need the things in your life that matter to you to be energized.

But energy also comes from within, from the way you are feeding yourself and this where you can start to become stronger. When you have no energy left, you won’t have much courage to prepare nourishing meals and get take out junk food more often. Pizza’s, Chinese food, hamburgers, pita’s don’t really cover vitamins, minerals, enzymes, essential fatty acids and amino acids. No way they can nourish your cells and blood to feel energized every day. Neither will the supermarket provide you what you need to climb out of the fatigue that has taken over your life. Looking for an organic farmer in your neighborhood is a first step in the good direction. Just knowing you can change the way you feel and you are taking your life back in your own hands by taking action will excite you.

Try to add more greens to your diet. Even if you are getting junk food, add a nice salad each time and you will get used to the freshness. Start every day with a green smoothie. It doesn’t take any energy, effort or time. Smoothies are fast, easy, delicious and will provide you that energy you are longing for so much. Refuel your body and relive!

  • Start each day with a green smoothie to get your greens and fruit. This is the easiest way to eat all the greens and fruits you need that day.
  • Make nice big salads as lunch. Add it to your cooked meal if you can’t let go of it for now. But try to eat one big salad a day.
  • Juice some fruit each day and explore how to make them so delicious you wouldn’t want to miss them anymore.
