Spirulina Balls
There are certain recipes you just don’t want to change because they are perfect. This is one of those. I found it in the “Superfoods” book of David Wolfe, was hooked from the first bite and don’t wanna change a thing!
Whenever you crave chocolate, make these nutritious Spirulina balls: they are ready in ten minutes and taste delicious. Gone craving and you will feel energized and happy.
TOOLS
A bowl and a spatula
INGREDIENTS
- 1/4 C of hemp seeds
- 1/2 C cacao powder
- 2 TBSP Spirulina
- 1 TBSP tocotrienols (optional but delicious!)
- 2 TBSP coconut oil
- 3 TBSP organic, raw honey (soft is easier)
- Pinch of Celtic sea salt (fine)
- 1 inside of a vanilla bean, or 1 tsp. vanilla bean powder or extract
THE MAKING OF…
- Mix all the ingredients
- Roll them into little balls
- Freeze for about 15 minutes (set a timer!)
TIPS
- To make all balls of the same size, use a small ice cream scoop
- These are so nice to give away in a nice box…
- Great with a cup of tea or hemp seed milk
- Next time, double up the amount because you will want more!
